Our brief for this product launch was to create a high-impact event that would surprise its guests. Our in-house team decided to go against normal expectations of a high-end event and produce an edgy, London “street” feel inspired by the Notting Hill Carnival.
Table cloths were dispensed with and garden furniture was brought in. Features were created using old speakers, oil barrels, fencing and a custom-built graffiti wall down one side of the room. A bespoke “disco” bin was built for the event, while the high vaulted ceilings allowed for large, high-impact lighting projections to be fitted and displayed.
Supplying the event was stress-free due to the proximity of the loading bay, while having the drinks reception in the Queen Vault allowed us to create a dramatic entrance into the main dining space of the King Vault.
The six-course menu was bespoke and really captured the theme of the event with courses being delivered on corrugated iron, bricks and also pieces of slate with custom designs from a local artist.
