Spring Greens Arrive
As the lighter evenings and warmer weather approach, spring greens arrive: always welcome in our kitchen. After our hearty winter dishes packed with root vegetables, we will be moving towards lighter dishes that draw on nature's larder. You will see evidence of this inspiration in our Spring menus: Golden Cross goats' cheese, crunchy green vegetables high in iron such as broccoli and fresh seasonal herbs.
Turning Over a New Leaf
This is the season for turning over a new leaf and renewing your healthy habits. We have some top tips for maintaining your healthy habits even whilst you are sat at your desk:
Make sure that you opt for foods that are rich in alkaline such as papaya, pears, grapes, celery that will help your liver to recover after the excesses of the winter season. Another top tip from our Chef is to eat at the same time of day everyday. This helps to maintain your metabolic rate and helps your body to find its natural balance.
