London could be set for a high-profile wedding soon after Peaches Geldof announced her engagement to S.C.U.M singer Thomas Cohen.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, she explained that they are not rushing into their nuptials and have actually secretly been engaged for months. They could potentially choose a wedding reception venue in the capital, as they are due to move into a new London home there next month.
Geldof said: “We’re moving to Whitechapel, to a three-bedroom Victorian conversion, which we got for pretty cheap. We’re moving in around January.
“It’s really exciting,” said Geldof, adding: “I’m actually really boring. Recently, I’ve been staying in with my fiancé every night of the week watching films like ‘Babe’.”
The 22-year-old has been married before, having previously wed Chester French drummer Max Drummey. They divorced in 2008 while she was still only 19 years old.
According to Mail Online, Geldof appeared at the London premiere of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ wearing her engagement ring in front of the media for the first time.
She wore a floor-length, black Dolce & Gabbana dress for the occasion and was photographed on the red carpet alongside her new fiancé. Other stars to grace the cameras were film stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara and Joely Richardson.
