Prince William survives secret stag do

Prince William has survived his stag do, despite having to change plans at the last minute, after details of the function venues and activities were leaked.

According to The Sun, the Prince – accompanied of course by his brother, Harry – went quad biking with around 20 friends; before having a few beets and beers at a country estate.

The newspaper suggested that Prince Harry (who will act as best man) was under strict instructions to keep the bash private, and so the 26-year-old opted not to tell a soul, even William’s wife-to-be, where the activities were taking place. A source close to the brothers confirmed this, stating: “He told his brother – nothing lavish and nothing public.”

Furthermore, one likely attendee of the shindig, Thomas van Straubenzee, told The Daily Telegraph when probed: “I’m very sorry but I have got to keep it a secret.”

“I hope you understand.”

After the weekend-long affair had taken place, it emerged that Prince Harry had originally planned to take his brother away for a water-skiing weekend, but as the plans were leaked, had to change at the last minute.

The Royal Palace neither confirmed nor denied what the Princes got up to on the stag trip; simply releasing a statement that read: “It has happened. We are not giving any details.”
