A new blog published today has claimed that wedding guests should take inspiration from Kate Middleton.
The article, published on hellomagazine.com, claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge is the perfect style icon for wedding attire due to the fact that she is always appearing on the ‘best dressed’ lists for her “impeccable” dress sense.
One such look that those attending a wedding can borrow from Kate is the long dress. The blog reads: “Kate saves long dresses for very special occasions and they are always absolutely stunning. She usually goes for dresses that highlight her tiny waist, have a flowy skirt and short sleeves.”
It recommends to team this look with a matching clutch bag, glossy hair and high heels a la Kate. The post also suggests that long dresses are a great look for evening weddings.
Meanwhile, those who aren’t a fan of the long dresses are in luck, as it is also claimed that Ms Middleton knows how to work a short dress too. Knee-length is said to be the princess’s preferred cut and she is often seen in darker colours such as greys, black and blues, which guests might want to opt for when they attend their next wedding reception venue.
Meanwhile another post published this week recommended a number of Instagram accounts that brides themselves can follow to get inspiration for their big day.
The article, published on huffingtonpost.com contains a number of suggestions for who to follow, which could give brides-to-be ideas about their dress, cake, make-up and decorations. These include wedding photographer Katie Stoops (@katiestoops) and wedding dress designer Carol Hannah Whitfield (@carolhannahwhitfield).
