'Twilight' wedding dress to go on sale in November

‘Twilight’ fans booking a wedding reception venue this winter could opt to enjoy their special day in a replica of the dress worn by Bella Swan.

The character, played by Hollywood starlet Kristen Stewart, is seen wearing the garment in a trailer for ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1’, the latest release in the ultra-popular film and book franchise.

According to Metro, people will be able to buy the wedding dress for themselves from November 2011, with several stores across the globe due to stock the item, including Alfred Angelo’s Signature shops.

The newspaper pointed out that the trailer does not offer many views of the Carolina Herrera creation, but described it as being “Edwardian-inspired”.

E! Online reported that the dress will be sold under the ‘Twilight Bridal by Alfredo Angelo’ label after the designer secured exclusive rights to create a replica, while at the same time pointing out that its description in the source novel suggests it will be old-fashioned in style.

Its unveiling is due to coincide with the release of ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1’, which comes out on 18 November and will become the fourth cinematic adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s ‘Twilight’ Saga.

The second and final part of the series will be released in November 2012.
