London can expect an additional 2.3 million extra tourists for the Royal Wedding, a new poll has suggested.
The survey – conducted by Kinetic UK – also indicates that around four million Brits planned to visit UK tourist attractions across the consecutive bank holiday weekends.
Other reports published on LBC.co.uk confirmed that hotel reservations and American flights to the UK are already close to being fully booked, in anticipation of Will and Kate’s big day.
This might be especially pleasing to owners of the capital city’s event spaces and party venues – London is likely to be packed with revellers the evening before the bank holiday. Many clubs and bars have already gained permission to extend licensing hours.
Kinetic UK spokesman, James Copley, spoke to WebWire.com about the results: “People will be out and about in London and across the country in vast numbers for the Royal Wedding and over Easter, and will be more reachable than ever.”
“They will be in a holiday mood over the two long-weekends and in the perfect state of mind to be targeted with relevant and pertinent advertising messages.”
Further results from the survey showed that one in four Brits are excited about the upcoming nuptials, whilst one in five will book extra time off around the day of the wedding.
