A new guide has reminded couples to choose their wedding reception venue carefully.
The article, published this week on bedforshire-news.co.uk, claims that the venue can have a huge impact on the overall feel of wedding receptions.
It reads: “Thinking about the venue is sure to get your imagination working. Your venue will certainly influence your wedding day decorations.”
The guide continued: “Take note of what is already there for you to work with, so you don’t end up going decoration crazy.”
There are a few tips included in the article however, which give ideas about what sort of decorations could be used in event spaces for a wedding reception. These include floral chairbacks, table centre pieces, flower bouquets on tables and personal placecards. Petals scattered on tables and photographs of the happy couple are also suggested, along with balloons, ribbons and tasteful banners.
However, as well as the happy couple forking out for decorations and all the other wedding-related expenses, it was also revealed last month that weddings aren’t cheap for guests either.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, the average wedding guest spends over £400 to attend a wedding. The data was commissioned by shopping catalogue Kaleidoscope, and found that the average person attends five weddings a year.
