With Halloween approaching, one couple decided to have a zombie wedding.
Andy and Tracey Monaghan married this week, with Andy dressed as a zombie and Tracey as a corpse bride, according to The Metro.
The walked up the aisle to ‘All We Want To Do Is Eat Your Brains’ before tying the knot in front of a zombie crowd, reports The Daily Mail.
The vows included: “I promise to care for you as we decay together” and “So that your corpse may live for eternity beside me – or until someone removes your head,” before the zombie priest declared: “You may now eat the bride.”
There was a twist to the ceremony, because the couple already got married in a traditional ceremony nearly seven years ago. The stunt was part of a charity fundraiser, but it will certainly have sparked the imagination of couples who want to do something a little different with their big day.
Embracing the Halloween theme can be as simple as choosing to decorate the wedding reception venue with hollowed out pumpkins, red orange and yellow flowers and a few scarecrows, ghosts, stars and moons.
If couples don’t want to go for a full blown Halloween theme, they can still embrace their goth or creative sides. The thing to remember is it’s your wedding, so it’s up to you what you want to do with it.
