Easyjet is planning a new route from Paris to London next year in order to boost its number of business travel customers.
According to buyingbusinesstravel.com, Two flights a day will operate from London Gatwick to Paris Charles de Gaulle from 30th of March 2014.
The two flights will be at 14:45 and 20:20 London time and 7:10 and 17:45 Paris time.
Fares are set to be fairly cheap too, as Easyjet says a return will start at £74.25 per person, reports businesstraveller.com.
In addition, Easyjet has recently expanded its fleet at Gatwick, despite already being the largest operator there.
For travellers the flight route will be a good alternative to the Eurostar, especially as some people have complained about the fact the Eurostar terminal has moved from Waterloo to St. Pancras.
Cath Lynn, Easyjet’s group commercial director, said the airline has plans to introduce ten new services from major UK airports next year along with this new route.
“The new additions to the 2014 schedule will provide 36.6 million seats network wide on a greater choice of destinations spanning the UK, Europe and beyond,” she said. “From Gatwick we have increased our already comprehensive range of destinations making even more business sense for corporate travellers to choose Easyjet.”
