Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have married, their PR people have confirmed.
While details such as their wedding reception venue have not been released, the pair reportedly tied the knot in a quiet ceremony in New York, witnessed by just four other people, according to guardian.co.uk.
The phrase used by Mr Craig’s representatives was that the actors were “top-secretly married” last Wednesday with Ms Weisz’s five-year old son Henry, Mr Craig’s teenage daughter Ella and two other family members in attendance.
Although the pair met back in 1994 when neither were famous, they have been recently reunited on the set of Hollywood film, Dream House, which is the story of a family who move into an “seemingly idyllic” home only to discover the previous residents had been brutally murdered within those same four walls.
The couple have kept their romance under the radar, dating out of the public eye, though The Telegraph maintains that back in November 2010, Mr Craig had already decided that Ms Weisz “was the woman for him.”
Insiders told Marie Claire that “Daniel and Rachel insisted on having a small, quiet wedding” and that the pair are “madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife – but they wanted minimum fuss.”
