Key to corporate Christmas parties is glamour

Women should focus on looking glamorous at the work’s Christmas parties this year, according to a style expert.

Speaking to Female First, celebrated hairdresser Andrew Barton offered a few suggestions on how people can look their best when heading to festive celebrations, saying that ladies can totally transform their look by getting their hair coloured.

Mr Barton said: “Hair for the Christmas party season is all about glamour. This season’s must-have hair is a modern take on the beehive. It even has the nifty trick of making a girl look taller.”

He also encouraged girls to spritz a little perfume in their hair as well as on their body when they are getting ready to go out.

Meanwhile, make-up artist Alana Phillips urged women to try a different mascara for their Christmas party and fashion stylist Hannah Hughes suggested a party dress can be ruined by wearing the wrong coat with it.

The Forres Gazette claimed that a good pampering session could help people look their best for festive events, but also noted that it is a great time of year to try a new look – perhaps a different haircut.

It explained that the change does not need to be drastic, but sometimes a minor alteration can take years off a woman’s age and open the door to new fashions.
