Work has started on a five star hotel located next to a premiere conference venue in London.
As reported by Event Magazine, the 235-bedroom boutique hotel will open next June. Owned by Montcalm Hotels, the hotel will boost the number of boardroom meetings and private dinners that can be held at the Chiswell Street venue.
“The development of the hotel will allow us to move into new markets within the events and incentive travel industry and will offer a complete 24 hour solution for all of our guests,” said Maria Duddin, general manager of the Brewery in London.
The hotel will also boast an on-site gym, a spa and an all-day restaurant.
A spokesperson for Montcalm Hotels said its location next to one of the city’s premier venues for hire “will no doubt attract a large number of business travellers and conference delegates looking for luxury accomodation in the heart of the city”. They added: “The hotel will reflect the same exceptional design, advanced technology and personal service as out Marble Arch based hotel.”
This is exciting news, as we reported last week that being located so closely to hotels enables event venues to market themselves as super hotels, in a bid to boost delegate numbers.
