Eastenders star Jessie Wallace has called off her lavish £300,000 wedding after her fiancé messaged an explicit picture of the actress to his ex-girlfriend.
Handbag.com reports the soap star cancelled her wedding ceremony and wedding reception venue at the very last minute after finding out that Vincent Morse, the fiancé in question, sent a picture of Jessie in a “sexy pose” to his ex-partner Karen Shorter in the past fortnight.
It is thought that Jessie’s cries of anguish could be heard by wedding guests, highlighting just how close Wallace was to marrying Morse in their grand ceremony.
The cancellation was so last-minute that guests were arriving at the venue unaware of the cancelled ceremony and were subsequently turned away by venue staff. Wallace will now head on their honeymoon with her six-year-old daughter Tallulah Lilac.
One hotel guest commented to The Sun: “It must be one of the worst things that can happen to a bride – on the eve of her wedding, too. EastEnders couldn’t have written a better script.”
£18,000 worth of champagne and £3,500 worth of flowers had to be cancelled, as well as 100 metres of security fencing and the cancellation of a £400,000 photo deal.
Wallace has given her now reportedly ex-partner ten days to move out of their rented Surrey home.
