If you choose to host your awards event at The Brewery, we’ll be with you every step of the way. We work with you from your first enquiry to understand the goals you have for your awards dinner and the services you’re looking to include, from catering and audio-visuals, to IT systems and designed venue spaces.
Which venue space would work best for my awards event?
Here is a list of our venue rooms, each with its own unique features and layout, and a capacity size to suit both the largest and most intimate awards events.
- The Porter Tun has a capacity of 300-1000.
- The King George III has a capacity of 300-450.
- Queen Charlotte has a capacity of 100-200.
- The Sugar Rooms has a capacity of 60-120.
- The Smeaton Vaults has a capacity of 60-100.

Can I hire more than one room to use for my awards dinner/event?
Some of our rooms are interconnected or joined, meaning that we can be very flexible when it comes to linking spaces and hiring multiple rooms. Organisers should be able to use different rooms in conjunction or use one as a breakout area and another as the main stage area.
Can you provide food for my guests?
Our specially tailored menus are perfect for awards events. Our award-winning chefs recognise that food is one of the most important aspects of your awards dinner and will pay particular attention to providing cuisine that complements your evening and stands out as a feature of your event. Where can my guests leave their coats and bags when they arrive?
We have a complimentary cloakroom that all guests can use to leave their belongings in a safe and secure location. In addition, we have 24-hour security so all guests of your awards dinner will be able to enjoy the event knowing their valuables are safe.
Where is The Brewery?
Our venue is located right in the heart of the City, nestled in between London’s financial district and the creative community of Shoreditch. We occupy the old Whitbread buildings – which have been located on the site since 1750 – and we are close to Liverpool Street Station, Moorgate Station and Barbican Station. We are also served by at least 10 bus routes.
