The Brewery is an extremely flexible conference venue for hire, and our range of spaces can cater for a variety of event capacities and layouts. We can also easily link spaces or use different rooms as breakout areas around a main space.

We deliver your event using our variety of high quality in-house facilities, such as catering, audio visual and IT. Our dedicated team of planners and event managers, have years of experience and work closely alongside you to tailor every detail, regardless of guest list size.

Your business event couldn’t be better situated. Located in the heart of the city and nestled within the creative hub of Shoreditch, The Brewery is close to Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Barbican stations, allowing your guests easy access for your event. Guests can also travel via bus to The Brewery, as the venue is served by at least ten bus routes.

Elevate Your Event with The Retreat’s Courtyard Spaces

Between May and the end of August, we can offer the use of The Retreat, for your drink’s reception, break-out sessions, exhibition, or registration area. The two outdoor spaces, located in The Brewery’s courtyard, provide an ideal backdrop for enhancing your event experience. Please note that there are additional costs should you wish to make use of these spaces and access restrictions could apply. We would be happy to provide further details and discuss availability based on your requirements.

Each of the 6 spaces available for conferences and meetings were once used in the brewing process, and have been adapted to perfectly suit your conference of event, whatever the size. The rooms each have their own charm, with original features that are sure to act as a talking point for your guests without restricting the function of the space.

Having many rooms available allows us to cater to smaller or larger capacity conferences. If you’re looking at a large conference venue to hire we can combine different spaces to create additional catering and breakout areas. Our unique venue allows us to be incredibly flexible.

As one of the leading conference venues in London, The Brewery, in conjunction with Encore, prides itself on offering the very latest end to end audio-visual production services. In addition to this each room boasts an integrated DB audio PA system and LED lighting. Your delegates can quickly and easily surf the web using our high-speed Wi-Fi service at no additional charge.

Our dedicated team of in-house AV specialists can provide the highest level of audio-visual support. However, if conference organisers wish to bring in their own team, this is also possible with prior arrangement and applicable fees.

Our team of planners will work with you from initial briefings, through to the final stages of your conference. Having worked on multiple events of all different styles and sizes our planning team are able to advise on the most suitable solutions for you to ensure a successful event.

On the day of your event, the delivery will be handed over to one of our highly experience operations team. Your event manager will be responsible for making sure that all aspects of your event are produced seamlessly and on schedule, whilst maintaining the highest possible standards of customer service at all times.

Conference FAQs

How many guests can I invite to my conference?

We have rooms for as few as 30 guests or as many as 1200. It all depends on which room you’d like to hold your meeting in.

Which room do I need?

Here is a list of our conferencing and meeting rooms, each with its own unique features and layout:

The Porter Tun has a capacity of 300-1000.
Queen Charlotte has a capacity of 100-200.
The Sugar Rooms has a capacity of 60-120.
The Smeaton Vaults has a capacity of 60-100.

Can I hire more than one room?

Our venue is very flexible and some of the rooms are joined, allowing organisers to link spaces or use different rooms as breakout areas around a main space.

Can I bring my own team to set up our booked room?

We welcome meeting organisers bringing their own team or our in-house AV specialist is available, providing a high level of audio-visual support across any of our rooms. We also provide high-end tableware, built-in LED lighting and electronic entrance signage that can be branded or themed as appropriate.

Where can my guests leave their coats and bags?

We have a complimentary cloakroom available for delegates to leave their belongings, backed up by on-site 24hr security so delegates can enjoy the meeting in the knowledge their valuables are safe.

I’ll need to connect to the internet during our meeting.

No problem, our complimentary Wi-Fi service is super-fast and you don’t have to worry about bandwidth either.
