The Cutting Room
Before being lost to time, The Cutting Room was an ornate vintage cinema where workers would gather to watch a picture together at the end of a hard weeks graft. Now restored to its old glory, the room features fixed seating for 48 guests to enjoy screenings and meeting presentations on a huge 98 inch screen. This quirky and enviable environment will help make product launches, small conferences and company briefings the highlight of any industry event calendar.
The Sample Room
In its former guise, The Sample Room was an area made for invention where the latest alcoholic creations were tried and tested before being unleashed on the general public.
The Sample Room is now an atmospheric fusion of contemporary design and bold raw materials. The luxurious fittings and furnishings help to create a space that effortlessly impresses for standalone cocktail receptions and networking events and when used in alongside The Pasteur Room can provide a breakout space ideal for small exhibition stands.
The Pasteur Room
The legendary French chemist Louis Pasteur visited The Brewery in 1871 to investigate the problems of beer fermentation. The results he achieved from the on-site laboratory meant that beer was forever changed for the better. The Pasteur Room playfully juxtaposes traditional period features against raw elements that hint at the rooms' industrial past. The Pasteur Room can be used in conjunction with The Sample Room to create a separate reception space or host larger standing events.

Christmas parties at The Grubstreet Cellars
While the other rooms at The Brewery are newly themed each year for the festive season, we’ve chosen to keep a more traditional and intimate setting for our Christmas parties at the Grubstreet Cellars. The Grubstreet is transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland, creating a cosy and enchanting atmosphere for your holiday celebration.

The Grubstreet Cellars is made of 3 different rooms, with different maximum capacity, however the maximum guest capacity across all the rooms is 88 guests, reception style.
How much does it cost to hire the Grubstreet Cellars?
Pricing depends on a few factors, like the number of guests, catering, AV etc. It is always better to get in touch with our sales team to get a proposal and discuss your budget.
Can the Grubstreet Cellars be hired together with other spaces?
Absolutely. The Grubstreet is self-contained and even have its own toilets and cloakroom, but the space can be hired in conjunction with other rooms at The Brewery. When used with other spaces, the Grubstreet Cellars is often used as a VIP area, a meeting space, a drink reception area or even an after party space.
Is the Grubstreet Cellars suitable for hybrid events?
Of course! Our in-house AV Partner, Encore will work with you to discuss your streaming needs and guest interaction goals to deliver a bespoke audio-visual package built around your budget.
How long in advance should I book the Grubstreet Cellars?
There is no specific rule, however we are a busy venue and we tend to be booked up a few months in advance. Get in touch to enquire about our availability.
