About the Festival of Marketing

Festival of Marketing is the flagship event from Marketing Week, part of Haymarket Media Group, for ambitious marketers who want inspiring keynotes, practical insights and the chance to connect with the brightest minds in the industry. The Festival exists to empower marketers to build better brands – providing the knowledge to enable actionable change. It brings together senior decision-makers from renowned brands across FMCG, Tech & Telecoms, FinTech, Retail, Media & Entertainment and beyond, for a mix of strategic insight, case studies, and conversations about the biggest challenges marketers face today.

Since moving to The Brewery in October 2022, the Festival has used our venue as its London base. The 2025 edition marked the fourth year on site and was designed as an intensive one-day working campus for marketers, delivering multi-track content alongside sponsor activations and structured networking across the venue.

WHAT WE DID

The Brewery’s layout allowed the Festival to run multiple stages and formats without losing the sense of a single, shared event. Delegates arrived through the Portcullis entrance into a branded Courtyard, with barista coffee and clear wayfinding into the main stages and lounges.

The Porter Tun hosted the headline stage, with the full programme being delivered across the whole of The Brewery site creating seven stages in total, including an additional stage inside an inflatable dome in the Courtyard. A room at the neighbouring Montcalm hotel (across the courtyard) was also used for registration and then transformed into a live podcast studio, creating an extended campus.

Networking in the King George III, FOM 2025

The King George III and Lower Sugar Room became the social hub, bringing catering and sponsor activity into one area, while the Grubstreet Cellars hosted the VIP lounges and leaders’ track. James Watt took on a different role, styled as the Contentful Lounge – with soft seating, coffee, a logo pop maker and a poetry corner – creating space for delegates to catch up on emails or talk things through between sessions.

Behind the scenes, we supported the organiser with practical details such as sourcing additional furniture, arranging a smoothie tricycle and Batak Lite game, and coordinating deliveries. We also worked closely with client-appointed suppliers – including registration, dome hire, charging stations and sponsor activations – managing access, timings and venue requirements so they fitted smoothly into the event.

TECH, BRANDING & AV

Our in-house AV partner, Encore, ran production across the stages, designing a set-up for a fast, content-heavy programme and tuning each room for talks, panels and recordings. High-capacity internet connections supported live streaming, demos, registration and extensive delegate device use. Encore’s familiarity with The Brewery meant the organiser worked with one team who already knew the building and how to get the best from every space.

For this type of event, branding was important. The Festival used our digital touchpoints across the venue: the LED screen in the Courtyard, the screens outside the rooms, and the reception video wall, plus house lighting programmed in event colours. Working with Encore, this was layered with additional branding such as window graphics, pillar wraps and directional signage at key entrances and busy routes, giving the brand and sponsors strong visibility.

The Result

The result was a complex festival with sessions delivered across seven stages in a cohesive, easy-to-navigate format tailored to modern marketing events. It brought the marketing community together under one roof with the shared aim of strengthening the industry’s impact and influence. The Festival of Marketing will return to The Brewery in 2026 as its London base.

I’d like to say just how much I love working with The Brewery team. Everyone, without exception, is so helpful and supportive that it feels as though you’re an extension of our own team. From securing the dates and navigating the contracting process, through pre-event planning and juggling partners, to the support on the day that went above and beyond, the team has been brilliant. A massive thank you – we’re already looking ahead to planning the next one.
