The Ceremony and Drinks Reception

Penny and James' wedding day at The Brewery was a picture-perfect celebration from start to finish. As guests arrived, they were warmly welcomed to the Upper Sugar Room, where they took their seats on white Chiavari chairs, ready for the ceremony to begin. The space had been elegantly decorated by Diamond Lush Events, with white aisle plinths and ivory rose trees lining the aisle, adding to the rustic charm of the historic room.

The bride arrived at the venue in style in a classic Rolls Royce with her father before making their way to the Upper Sugar Room, where she was proudly walked down the aisle by both her father and son. The ceremony, officiated by the Islington registrar, was filled with heartfelt moments, including a sweet interruption from the couple's young son and a reading by one of the bridesmaids. As the ceremony came to a close, the couple were serenaded by soulful saxophone melodies as they exited.

Following theI dos,the newlyweds stole a private moment alone in the Sales Space to enjoy some bubbles and soak it all in, before joining their guests in the courtyard for the confetti toss and group photographs. The celebration continued in the Lower Sugar Room, where guests enjoyed drinks and canapés with the sound of the saxophone providing a lively backdrop as they mingled. The Brewery's staff circulated with bubbles, beer, and delectable canapés as the couple and their guests celebrated.

The Wedding Breakfast and After Party

The wedding décor and styling extended into the adjacent King George III room for the wedding breakfast, where the tables featured a floral wreath centrepiece with roses and a trio of LED candles. The setting was completed with large illuminated 'MR & MRS' letters and a white wedding post box for guests to leave their cards.

As guests settled in the King George III room, Penny and James made a grand entrance, with Penny taking a moment to welcome their guests before the wedding breakfast commenced. Marking the couple's first meal as newlyweds, the Brewery's talented chefs prepared a three-course meal alongside fine wines. As the meal drew to a close, touching speeches from the Father of the Bride, the Groom, and the Best Man had guests laughing and tearing up as they toasted the happy couple. The couple's favourite cocktails - a passion fruit martini for Penny and an espresso martini for James - were then served to their guests.

The Superhands, an indie rock band, kicked off the evening's entertainment, with a brief interlude to cut the cake. The beautiful three-tier cake, decorated with delicate petals, was handmade by Cutter & Squidge in London and featured different flavours on each tier—raspberry vanilla, lemon sponge, and double chocolate salted caramel. The cake cutting was followed by the couple's first dance, marking the official beginning of their life together as husband and wife.

Throughout the evening, guests captured memories with Lense, a digital disposable camera app that allowed them to share their photos with friends and family. In addition to this, a photo booth was available, offering guests a memento to take home. Before bidding the newlyweds a fond farewell, guests enjoyed a cheese board and hot snacks, including the couple's wedding cake. The seamless hosting of every aspect of the day under one roof allowed the couple and their loved ones to relax and enjoy each moment.

From the first site visit to the last dance, The Brewery's expert team ensured every detail was flawless, allowing the couple to relax and savour each unforgettable moment.

Congratulations Penny and James from all at The Brewery!
