The Tisch, Beddeken and Chuppah

The Brewery has had the privilege of hosting a multitude of culturally diverse weddings and is very familiar with Jewish culture and traditions.

The venue itself is perfectly suited for Jewish weddings, featuring various interconnected rooms of different sizes, making it ideal for accommodating all the components of the celebration throughout the day.

In keeping with Jewish traditions, Kate and Sam opted to include a Tisch (held in our Queen Charlotte) and a Beddeken (held in the Sugar Rooms).

The King George III, our second-largest event space, is conveniently linked to the Lower Sugar Room (where the Beddeken took place) and is, as a result, an ideal choice for hosting The Chuppah ceremony. This setup allows the bride and the groom to walk down the aisle alongside his parents directly from the Lower Sugar Room.

The room can comfortably host up to 300 guests, and the ambient LED lighting along with the vaulted ceiling create an intimate and romantic atmosphere within the space.

Following The Chuppah, all the guests were ushered to The Porter Tun balcony for the drinks reception.

The Wedding Breakfast and After Party

The wedding breakfast and the evening party took place in The Porter Tun, breathtakingly transformed for the occasion by the production company and florist who put together fairy lights and beautiful high centrepieces.

The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed the delicious 3-course menu catered by the Kosher caterer Ben Tenenblat and hosted a Vanity Fair inspired photo shoot in our Octagon reception, which is ideal for group
photography. The guests danced all night long thanks to the incredible band Club Live UK. The party was a mix of traditional Israeli dancing and more contemporary music. The band entertained the crowd even serenading Kate & Sam with a song from the fabulous musical film "The Greatest Showman".  The party in The Porter Tun officially finished at 11pm with a thank you and farewell from the bride. However, the youthful crowd continued till the end in our Queen Charlotte room with a DJ after party till past midnight! It was a great end to the perfect day.
