The Brewery has become a seasoned host for a myriad of culturally diverse weddings, and when it comes to dry hire for Asian weddings, one of our trusted partners is Veer Gold. Together, armed with expertise and knowledge, The Brewery and Veer Gold harmoniously craft extraordinary, high-quality, and expansive weddings that span the entirety of The Brewery's versatile event spaces.

The Brewery served as a canvas for Kaiyil and Priyesh to create their own unique love story, one adorned with dreams of an Indian Fusion wedding. The day commenced in the enchanting Upper Sugar Room, where an intimate civil ceremony unfolded, surrounded by 120 of their closest friends and family. The day continued in the King George III room, where an additional 130 cherished guests joined for a traditional Hindu ceremony - renowned for its vibrancy.

In keeping with tradition, the groom made a spirited entrance in the Octagon, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of Dhol drums, before stepping into The King George III room for the sacred ceremony. Every element of a traditional Hindu wedding received meticulous attention, from the lighting of the sacred fire under the Mandap to the exchange of floral garlands and heartfelt prayers to the God of new beginnings and good fortune. And, of course, let's not forget the radiant bride adorned with the Mangala Sutra.

Following the ceremonies, guests ascended to The Porter Tun, where they enjoyed a delightful drinks reception on The Balcony.

The Wedding Breakfast and After Party

As the drinks reception drew to a close, guests were guided to the main floor of the Porter Tun room for the wedding breakfast. The space was a vision of timeless elegance, with long tables tastefully decorated with low floral vases that created a setting for relaxed conversations. Within this enchanting ambiance, the newlyweds and their guests savoured a delectable meal provided by Veer Gold.

When it came to the wedding cake, Kaiyil and Priyesh chose to embrace the unconventional. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, they opted for a delightful display of cheese wheels provided by Neal's Yard Dairy, adding a whimsical and savoury twist to their celebration.

As the meal concluded, guests were beckoned to the dancefloor by the lively tunes of the Motor City Soul Band. Laughter and love filled the room as the joyous celebration transitioned into the evening, with guests dancing the night away, guided by the rhythms of the DJ.

The reception, wedding breakfast, and after-party all seamlessly unfolded within the confines of this same magnificent room, uniting the various facets of the day in a harmonious and memorable manner.
