The Ceremony and Drinks Reception
In the heart of central London, amid the historic charm, Polly and Billy's marriage ceremony unfolded within the hallowed walls of St Etheldreda's Church in Farringdon. This sacred space bore witness to the joining of their hearts in a bond of love for the ages. After their heartfelt vows were exchanged, Polly and Billy unveiled a delightful surprise for their guests. An iconic vintage double-decker bus stood by, a symbol of classic romance, ready to transport their dear friends and family to The Brewery.
Guests gathered in eager anticipation in The Brewery’s cobbled courtyard to warmly welcome the newlyweds with an excited confetti toss.This enchanting moment served as the perfect backdrop for the couple to capture timeless photographs with their bridesmaids, groomsmen, and their cherished daughter, Olive.
The drinks reception unfolded on the Porter Tun Balcony, where a black curtain separated the drinks reception area from the dinner setting below. This curtain added a air of intrigue, setting the stage for a grand reveal of the room!

The Wedding Breakfast and After Party
Polly and Billy's quest for the perfect wedding ambience led them to choose the renowned The Wedding Lounge for their room décor and the skilled hands of Passion for Flowers for the beautiful centrepieces. Choosing to marry in October, their vision was to embrace the warmth and magic of autumn, and as such, the tables were adorned with charming pumpkins, a subtle nod to the Halloween weekend. The result was nothing short of breathtaking – a room exuding sophistication and elegance.
As the evening unfolded, a sumptuous 3-course dinner left everyone content, with accolades flowing from the guests. When it came time to raise their glasses for the toast, Polly and Billy chose the exquisite Laurent Perrier Rosé.
Following the delectable dinner, the alluring sound of The Soul Jets ushered in the newlyweds' first dance. As the celebration continued, the wedding cake was cut and served, and guests were treated to evening snacks and an array of delicious cheese platters from Paxton and Whitfield.
As the enchanting evening drew to a close, the room was alive with collective warmth and jubilant hearts. The wedding party revelled in every single moment, from the exquisite food to the free-flowing drinks and spirited dancing, guided by the harmonious melodies of the band and the DJ.
It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable surprises.
