The Ceremony and Drinks Reception

Boasting quintessential English charm, the ceremony took place in the Upper Sugar Room. With its striking Georgian windows and natural daylight, this exquisite and intimate space was the perfect setting for the couple to say their vows in front of loved ones. To emphasise the traditional British theme and to complement the rustic and natural look of the space, the couple chose an exquisite cream and green floral colour scheme.

After the ceremony, guests were ushered to garden-themed marquees in the courtyard, where they indulged in a selection of refreshing drinks and tempting canapés. While guests were enjoying the atmosphere, fizz and finger food, the bride and groom went to the nearby Barbican where they had pictures taken against the bustling city backdrop.

The Wedding Breakfast and After Party

With its exposed wooden beams and high ceiling, guests returned to the Upper Sugar Room for the wedding breakfast. Guests were greeted by a stunning banqueting style set up at which to enjoy the delicious three-course wedding breakfast. The stunning bride gave a heartfelt speech, where she welcomed all guests and talked about her new husband.

Following the speeches, the party started in the Lower Sugar
Room, which was transformed to a Californian theme as a homage and celebration of the groom. From inflatable surfboards and sharks, to Californian-themed photo props and pink balloons, this was a wedding party to remember. Guests indulged in mouth-watering cupcakes and danced the night away to the musical talents of a four-piece band.
